Their MD Katy, is very much a people person and they stress that they are approachable which is the key reason, to building a successful business and this has attributed to their company’s success after thirty years. “It’s amazing how quickly you can clear up what was never a big issue in the first place. Being in 23 languages, the pressure is on him to create all the text in black only allowing for a cost saving on one plate change. Qualitative questions help you understand the human part of your audience. This can be done by doing face-to-face interviews and asking direct questions, and being there in person helps you see how they react and their body language which you can do more in person than with surveys. Quantitative questions, is more about having information and data n front of you. This can help guide you, but you’ll need a larger percent of people to be answering the surveys to make sure that you get the right answers. But, overall this will help you get more targeted answers and maximise the potential of building your business or creative idea. Creating a survey There are some great tools for building questionnaires such as Typeform, SurveyMonkey. She created an algorithmic system that generates a unique design, based on your answers to a series of questions about your feelings on happiness. Various parameters change the colour, pattern, design elements and font depending on the answers you give. We developed a bespoke software app and website where you can answer the questions and then generate your unique artwork which you can then download as an image. You can also choose to add it to the large-scale projection. The website was still live so this is the version I created. Based on the governments’ econometric data, they created a large model of the city and visualised many futures on it. But showing them a future model wasn’t enough to convince them to stop using their cars and start using public transport. They were expecting this reaction. They collaborated with their scientific team in a lab to produce approximate vapour samples of what the air quality would be like in 2030. The gradient lighting system would be a huge draw for him, as it gives an immediate visual clue that the fountain is safe and well-maintained. He’s also intrigued by the town’s sustainability stats in the app, especially seeing how his community stacks up against others in the UK.
